The airfield is approved for VMC day and VFR night time operations. The runway lighting can be activated outside the hours of service by VHF radio signals. The local Air-Ground callsign is Randers Radio on frequency 122,075 MHz. Please note, if the radio is unmanned continue with blind calls. All inbound aircraft should first contact the area FIS at Aarhus Approach on frequency 119, 275 MHz. Please avoid flying over the villages of Mejlby and Lem, which are noise sensitive areas, during take-off and landing. Aircraft inbound are requested to join overhead the airfield at 1700 ft. (MSL). The circuit height at Randers Airfield is 1200 ft. (MSL). All circuits are left hand. 
Fuel: 100LL and Jet A1 (150l/min) Self-service refueling is available only for the holders of a valid STATOIL aviation card. Please note, these card holders must be registered at Randers Airfield. In addition, the Airfield Manager can also assist with refueling within the AD service hours. Payment can be made in cash or by credit card. Please contact the Airfield Manager during telephone hours (see below). Olie: EE80, 20W50, 2380. Oil can be purchased from the Airfield Manager within the AD service hours. Opening hours Monday to Friday - 08.30-23.00 Saturday/Sunday/Hollidays - 09.00-21.00 Telephone hours Monday to Thursday - 08.30-15.30
