randerskommune2Randers Airfield is located in the heart of East Jutland, and is the second largest airfield in the area. Randers Airfield is owned and operated by the Municipality of Randers.

The airfield due to its location is ideal for small and medium sized air transport and taxi flights. It is possible to fly direct from Randers Airfield to destinations both at home and abroad.

Flying School

Aarhus Air Center

The local flying school at Randers Airfield is called Aarhus Air Center. The school offers EASA certified courses to become either a private pilot. Difference training, type ratings and proficiency checks are also available.

Flying from Randers Airfield allows you to experience most types of airspace, airfields, and large airports which is good learning and experience for both students and graduate pilots alike.

Randers Airfield is located in uncontrolled Class G airspace up to an altitude of 3500 feet and is just 4 NM northwest of Aarhus TMA and in Aarhus LTA and Copenhagen FIR.
